The most aerodynamic S-Works Evade road helmet in the peloton has evolved with even more ventilation. A thorough review of the design has made it the helmet of choice on more stages. Large-scale testing using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and our own wind tunnel facility, Win Tunnel, has resulted in a rear diffuser that minimizes air resistance and increases ventilation. While optimizing aerodynamic performance by allowing the wind to escape more easily at the rear of the helmet, ventilation capacity has been improved by drawing more than 10% of the wind into the helmet at all speed ranges. The adjuster on the back of the head realizes a comfortable fit that matches the shape of the individual rider's head. The angle adjustment function also enhances the compatibility of the helmet and eyewear. The adjustable Tri-Fix web splitter features a 10mm narrow strap for minimal bulk around the ears and neck for superior comfort and fit. ANGi-enabled, ultra-lightweight Mindset micro-dial fit system features height adjustability for even better dial grip and quick and easy adjustments. Built into the helmet's padding, the ultra-lightweight and super-comfortable MIPS Air Node technology features a low-friction layer that reduces brain-shaking rotational forces.
