The range of use of gravel bikes is becoming ever broader and the routes ridden are also becoming ever more demanding. It is therefore only logical to consider fitting a suspension fork to the gravel bike for more comfort and riding fun. Thanks to the ultra-light Fox 32 Taper Cast, optimized for gravel bikes, replacing the rigid fork is now even easier. Weighing just 1226 grams (shortened, factory version), it is the lightest suspension fork Fox has ever produced. Its slim taper-cast design improves drag and blends in perfectly with the look of modern gravel bikes. It is also the main reason for the extremely low weight of the fork. The shapely casting is made possible by the smaller air chamber of the fork with 50 millimetres of travel, compared to MTB suspension forks with greater travel. The adapted, smaller air chamber also ensures that the fork works optimally for many riders without the need to fit volume spacers. Up to 4 spacers can be fitted to adjust the spring characteristic if required.
The proven lower leg bypass channels ensure optimum oil circulation and help to achieve optimum performance while utilizing the entire spring travel.
Another striking feature of the 32 Taper Cast design is the triple clamp, which has been moved to the rear of the fork, enabling a lower position and thus saving material. In addition, the triple clamp, which is not visible from the front, also contributes to the slim appearance of the fork. For a wide range of applications, the fork is equipped with a 330 millimetre long steerer tube, which also makes it compatible for particularly comfortable riding positions on bikes with a long head tube. Mudguard brackets included in the scope of delivery ensure uninterrupted riding fun even in bad weather.

NOTE: The fork is not suitable for 650b tires, as the chassis limits the width for this tire size to 30 millimeters.

GRIP SL damping
This cartridge replaces the classic FIT4. The aim was to minimize weight and generate three perfectly defined low-speed compression modes (LSC). The new cartridge is lighter and optimized for gravel use. The completely closed mode (Firm) is particularly important. Thanks to a blow-off valve (IFP), the cartridge opens as soon as it receives a blow, so you can concentrate on the essentials. Great importance was also attached to the smooth response typical of Fox and the breakaway torque was minimized.

FLOAT AIR SPRING
The FLOAT air spring system reduces the breakaway torque and thus offers a highly sensitive fork and full comfort even on small bumps. And that for every type of rider and with a wide range of air pressures. Similar to the FLOAT suspension struts, the FLOAT suspension system is characterized by a positive and a negative air chamber, which automatically balance each other out when riding.
